Nadena

Your data is worth something. You should be the one who gets paid.

Nadena is a platform where users export their behavioral data from YouTube, Spotify, and Netflix via Google Takeout, decide whether to share it with researchers and AI companies, and receive a direct cut of every sale. Built on genuine informed consent. No scraping. No dark patterns.

How it works
01
Export your data from Google
Users download their watch and listening history via Google Takeout, the tool Google provides under GDPR's right to data portability. Takes about five minutes.
02
See what you actually have
Before anything leaves the device, users see their own behavioral stats: hours watched, content categories, peak viewing times, binge patterns. It's their data. They look at it first.
03
Choose whether to share
If users consent to contribute, Nadena sends only anonymized aggregate records to verified research partners. No video titles. No channel names. No URLs. Ever.
04
Earn from every sale
When a dataset is licensed to a researcher or AI company, contributing users receive a proportional share of the revenue. Not gift cards. Not points. Actual money.
Privacy model

What we collect, and what we will never touch.

The platform stores behavioral signals: when people watch, how often, what categories. It stores nothing that could identify a person or expose what specific content they watched. GDPR-compliant from day one. Consent documented and revocable at any time.

  • Video titles or URLs
  • Channel names or IDs
  • Comments or search history
  • Your name or email address
  • Any data without explicit consent
  • Anything that could re-identify you

Consent-based data collection is an established and growing model. Nadena applies it specifically to behavioral data from streaming and video platforms, an area with clear research and commercial demand and very limited supply of ethically sourced datasets.
